Most of the construction of the Hydro Majestic took store in 1903, the equivalent year Mr Coy successfully applied to have the name of the township changed to the more appropriate mellow Bath The inner workings of the resort were all thoroughly modern and included a steam ambitious generator imported from Germany. This generator produced electricity for the resort and the neighboring township of mellow Bath. In fact the Hydro Majestic had busy electricity four days earlier the city of Sydney. The resort also had its own water supply, steam laundry, frosty works, sewerage treatment works and a telephone system connected to the Sydney exchange. A group of exceptional guests arrived by train at Penrith where Mr Coy had a fleet of motor cars waiting to drive them to the Hotel. Artworks collected from all over the world were housed in a gallery considerable hundred feet long. Entertainment took deposit in the Casino Ballroom (it was never old for gambling) the exquisite dome is still in place today. The dome was prefabricated in Chicago and shipped to Australia. In 1946 a fresh building was opened with bedrooms on the upper floors and a important lounge downstairs entire with a large fireplace. All tours run for approximately 3045 minutes and begin from the Casino Lobby and finish in the Hydro Majestic Pavilion. Full prepayment is needed for all tour bookings of 10 people or more which is required at the time of booking.
